Same issue here. Purchased used 2011 Acadia Denali 6 months ago. This past week, the hissing sound, hot air, the AC light blinks 3 times, then off. Took to Valvoline for a quick pressure test to see if anything was leaking. Nothing found. Freon added, recharged and cold air once again ($127 w/1yr free freon charges, as needed).SOURCE: Hot air blows but cools down in 15-20 seconds. You likely have a restriction in the heater coolant hose circuit - perhaps a coolant control valve not fully opening, or a kinked hose. Insufficient coolant volume is flowing to keep the heater core hot. Try back flushing the heater core system with a garden hose to check flow.Turning that knob to the left will set the system to set cooler air. Turning the knob to the right will tell the system to deliver warmer air. This worked and cold air successfully blew out on the drivers side, however, it caused the right side to now blow hot air. I figured this would be calibration, so I popped the HVAC b fuse for 2 mins.
